My recommendation is none other than Battlefield 2! In this game, you play as (gasp) soldiers during a war. This game has been out for years and years and it still is packed when you try and hop into a multiplayer match. The community has perservered through the thick and thin, as this is just a mammoth of a game. There are over forty official maps, plus countless custom maps! This is a staple of PC gaming, and is a must-own for this low cost of $7.49!
